Objectives

i) Disseminating the knowledge of science and technology through lectures by experts; Publishing books and journals; Organising workshops, seminars, exhibitions etc.

ii) Conducting sponsored research projects relevant to the needs of local regions and in national interest.

iii) Helping colleges/ universities to establish good laboratory infrastructure and R & D projects in priority areas,

iv) Empowering teachers in schools, colleges and universities to teach science more effectively and thus inspire students,

v) Recognizing and rewarding talented students, teachers, scientists and entrepreneurs and encouraging them to become achievers in the field of science and technology, and

vi) Undertaking such other activities to realise the main aim of KAAS.
