In the present day context, scientific activities and advancement are effective with collaboration. Keeping this in view, KAAS has expanded its collaboration, which initially was with Bangalore University and IISc, to many scientific institutions and organisations in furthering its aims and objectives. It has collaborated with ISRO, RRC, JNCASR, IIAP besides IISc for special program of activities.
In the recent past, in accordance with provisions under UGC, some colleges have transformed into cluster universities. A number of private universities too have come up in consonance with the provisions made by the Government of Karnataka. Some of them are new whereas others have been carved out of existing colleges. Interested ones among these new entities and universities in and outside Bangalore have been enrolled as Benefactor Members by KAAS in tune with its byelaws. KAAS is actively collaborating with many of these new entities both in conducting the usual programs and in chalking out new and relevant ones for the advancement of science.
